My stay at Bergbach exceeded all my expectations, starting with the warm welcome from the owner who personally assisted us throughout our visit. The location proved to be ideal for exploring the picturesque Ramsau area, with the famous Parish Church of St Sebastian just a stone's throw away. Despite being on the 3rd floor without an elevator, the owner's attentive service made the climb effortless, and the view of the surrounding mountains from our balcony was breathtaking.Waking up to the soothing sound of nearby running water, we enjoyed a delicious German breakfast buffet that catered to all tastes, a true highlight of our stay. The proximity to the Watzmann trailhead allowed us to embark on a memorable hike without any hassle, immersing ourselves in the stunning natural beauty just steps from the hotel. The young Russian staff member, whose name I regrettably do not recall, deserves special recognition for his exceptional hospitality and helpfulness throughout our stay. Bergbach truly encapsulates the essence of sustainable tourism and immersive nature experiences, making it a standout choice for eco-conscious travelers seeking a tranquil retreat in the German countryside.
